Adjective Endings
When an adjective comes before a noun, it takes an ending: ein großer Hund (m), eine kleine Katze (f), ein altes Haus (n). When it comes after a verb like sein, it has no ending: Der Hund ist groß.

Sie ist sehr freundlich und intelligent.She is very friendly and intelligent.
