Present Simple — الحاضر البسيط
Use: facts, routines, schedules. I work, She plays, We study.
الاستخدام: الحقائق، العادات، الجداول. I work أعمل، She plays تلعب، We study ندرس.

| Affirmative | Base verb; add -s with he/she/it | I live in Cairo. • She likes tea. |
| Negative | Do/does + not + base | I do not (don’t) like coffee. • He doesn’t play chess. |

Signal words: always, often, usually, every day, on Mondays.

Present Continuous — الحاضر المستمر
Use: actions happening now / temporary. Form: am/is/are + V-ing.
الاستخدام: أفعال تحدث الآن / مؤقتة. الصيغة: am/is/are + V-ing.
